Wearing of Face Coverings on Public Transport, 2020

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic the wearing of face coverings on public transport is now mandatory. Lord Rennard addresses some of the problems that are facing the general public are facing while travelling on public transport.

What can be done to persuade the travelling public to keep masks on throughout their journey? Can there be more to help people with disabilities who should not have to remove their masks in order to explain their need to occupy a seat? Lord Rennard suggests special face coverings to assist with this problem.
