Lord Rennard emphasises the importance of free school meals for eligible children.
“I am one of the few members of the House of Lords who had free school meals. It never made sense to me that you got this support in term time, but no equivalent support in the school holidays. When will the Government stop saying that they agree with Marcus Rashford, whilst voting down his proposals? Isn’t it time to do the right thing?”
