The health protection regulation was put into place on 26 March, 2020. This was to protect public health due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Amendments have been made and these improved regulations were laid before the House on 3 July.
Today, these motions are laid before the House to be approved. Lord Rennard calls for the Government to make public any policies that diverge from medical advice and provide reasons for them.
