Question posed: How the Government plans to achieve their objective of making England smoke free by 2030. 1 million people have given up smoking to protect their health during lockdown. What other measures can be put into place to ensure that England becomes smoke free in 2030?
The amendment of the bill proposes guidance for smoke-free areas outside pubs and restaurants. Lord Rennard raises the point that these areas would be more attractive to potential customers and also make giving up smoking easier. Consequently, helping England to become a smoke free country by 2030.
