The government has put social distancing guidance in place to slow the spread of coronavirus. It is important that the guidance reflects the latest advice from the Scientific Advisory group and therefore contains the latest evidence that we have on the transmission of the virus.
Lord Rennard calls for the Government to publish the scientific and medical reviews as written by them, independently of any government pressure. Consequently, this will allow the general public to know that any change is based on scientific advice or not. Guidance such as social distancing with the two metre rule needs to reflect the latest evidence.
